Omnison is seeking a dynamic and committed individual to fill the position of Stage Technician/Machinist
Job Description
Reporting to the Technical Director or incumbent Supervisor, the Stage Technician is responsible for the installation, proper functioning, proper use and optimal operation of sound, lighting, video and set equipment and other technical aspects in the preparation and production of shows.
General Responsibilities
- Unload, dismantle and load production elements for a show;
- Working on certain aspects when performing a show;
- Any other related duties.
Qualifications required
- Basic education or minimum experience in the field;
- Good general understanding of the technical aspects of a show a plus;
- Have a forklift and/or aerial work platform license and training in working at heights, an asset;
- Be able to lift heavy loads.
