{"id":2291,"date":"2023-01-19T01:52:37","date_gmt":"2023-01-19T01:52:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omnison.impulsionmedia.com\/emploi\/technicienne-de-son\/"},"modified":"2023-02-28T04:00:05","modified_gmt":"2023-02-28T04:00:05","slug":"sound-technician","status":"publish","type":"emploi","link":"https:\/\/omnison.com\/en\/jobs\/sound-technician\/","title":{"rendered":"Sound technician"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OMNISON: Expertise and experience are the key to success<\/p>\n<p>A true benchmark in the field, Omnison brings together high-caliber professionals who love to challenge and collaborate and enjoy working closely with our diverse clients: event planners, entertainment producers, sports organizers, corporate executives, artistic directors, and more.<\/p>\n<h2>Omnison is seeking a dynamic and committed individual to fill the position of Sound Technician<\/h2>\n<h3>Job Description<\/h3>\n<p>Reporting to the Technical Director, and under the supervision of the Head Soundman, this position will be required to work in a variety of venues.<\/p>\n<h3>General Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate the design and rigging of sound systems at each set-up;<\/li>\n<li>Replace other sound operators at various functions during performances as needed (monitors, room);<\/li>\n<li>Replace other technicians at different functions during performances as needed;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all aspects of sound-related operations are functioning effectively during rehearsals and performances;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the safety of the sound equipment at all times;<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the maintenance, repair and modification of sound equipment;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that sound equipment is properly set up and complies with the show concept;<\/li>\n<li>Observe safety standards and regulations for sound equipment and use safe work practices;<\/li>\n<li>Comply with and support procedures and requirements for the management of Omnison equipment and inventory;<\/li>\n<li>Use the tools and procedures provided to manage inventory and equipment data;<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Production Manager or Sound Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Required Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Schooling: College degree (or equivalent) in entertainment production, theatrical production, sound technology or electronics (or equivalent work experience);<\/li>\n<li>Have at least three (3) years of experience as a sound technician;<\/li>\n<li>Good general understanding of all technical aspects of a show, an asset;<\/li>\n<li>Experience with chain motor operations, loudspeakers and arena sound rigging.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Requirements<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work in a team environment;<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Autonomy and initiative;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Working conditions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Availability on evenings and weekends;<\/li>\n<li>Competitive compensation to be determined based on experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":2216,"template":"","class_list":["post-2291","emploi","type-emploi","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.7 -
