{"id":2289,"date":"2023-01-19T02:00:20","date_gmt":"2023-01-19T02:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omnison.impulsionmedia.com\/emploi\/technicienne-eclairage\/"},"modified":"2023-02-28T03:59:15","modified_gmt":"2023-02-28T03:59:15","slug":"lighting-technician","status":"publish","type":"emploi","link":"https:\/\/omnison.com\/en\/jobs\/lighting-technician\/","title":{"rendered":"Lighting technician"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OMNISON: Expertise and experience are the key to success<\/p>\n<p>A true benchmark in the field, Omnison brings together high-caliber professionals who love to challenge and collaborate and enjoy working closely with our diverse clients: event planners, entertainment producers, sports organizers, corporate executives, artistic directors, and more.<\/p>\n<h2>Omnison is seeking a dynamic and committed individual to fill the position of Lighting Technician<\/h2>\n<h3>Job Description<\/h3>\n<p>Reporting to the Technical Director, and under the supervision of the Chief Lighting Designer, this position will be required to work in a variety of venues.<\/p>\n<h3>General Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that lighting equipment is properly set up and complies with the show concept;<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the set up and tear down of lighting equipment and technical equipment related to the show;<\/li>\n<li>Act as a tracking operator during performances and rehearsals and, if necessary, as a lighting console operator;<\/li>\n<li>Operate, as needed, the lighting console for each performance and practice;<\/li>\n<li>Replace other technicians in various capacities during performances as needed;<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and modification of lighting equipment;<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the training of supernumerary tracking operators;<\/li>\n<li>Supervise training of local operators and technicians as needed;<\/li>\n<li>Comply with lighting safety standards and regulations and apply safe work practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications required<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Schooling: College degree (or equivalent) in entertainment production, theatre production, sound technology or electronics (or equivalent work experience);<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three years experience as a lighting technician;<\/li>\n<li>Good general understanding of all technical aspects of a show, an asset;<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of electricity and electrical safety in the entertainment industry;<\/li>\n<li>Having a forklift and\/or aerial work platform license and training in working at heights an asset;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work at heights (climbing skills are essential).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Requirements<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work in a team environment;<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Autonomy and initiative;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Working conditions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Availability on evenings and weekends;<\/li>\n<li>Competitive compensation to be determined based on experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":2212,"template":"","class_list":["post-2289","emploi","type-emploi","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.7 -
